RB VIII  - PASAR and PNOC Staunch LMC Advocates

              The Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corporation (PASAR) and the PNOC –Energy Development Corporation (PNOC-EDC) were given Awards of  Excellence by NCMB RB VIII because of   their exemplary support for the LMC Program in the region. These two companies have experienced remarkable transformation of their adversarial labor relations to one that is harmonious and productive.

PASAR’s adversarial labor relations due to intra-union disputes  eventually diminished through the constant dialogue in their Labor Management Cooperation Council (LLMC).  On the otherhand, PNOC –EDC, thru their LMC the union has demonstrated the character of  being a responsible union.  Its union sought to build their paradigms based on “ shared vision and stewardship agreement”.
