After the successful Visioning and Strategic Planning workshop held last February, the TVAAC members meet anew to sustain the dynamism developed in the exercise. The Council reviewed the Strategic Plan and identified follow-up actions that need to be undertaken.
The inadequacy of rules and procedures governing voluntary arbitration emerged as one of the priority concerns of the Council. The finalization of the Rules of Procedures on Voluntary Arbitration was pinpointed as the first activity that would respond to this concern, thus, a one-day workshop, tentatively scheduled on May 14, was agreed to be held in order to fully review the draft Rules. The review workshop will also include the Guidelines in the Accreditation and De-listing of Voluntary Arbitrators.
