NCMB Champion in the 5^th Labor Statistics Quiz

The tandem of Mr. Joselito O. Rivera and Ms. Catherine D. Alcantara emerged as Champion in the 5^th Labor Statistic Quiz held at the DOLE Multi-Purpose Hall, Executive Building, Intramuros, Manila last October 25, 2007.

The quiz was organized by the BLES under the auspices of the DOLE – IAC and was participated in by employees from bureaus, services and attached agencies of the Department.

Mr. Rivera and Ms. Alcantara bested twenty four (24) contestant from other DOLE Offices. POEA participants garnered 1st Runner –Up honors while DOLE RBIV-B placed 2^nd Runner-Up.

The Quiz is a yearly undertaking of the DOLE spearheaded by BLES to test DOLE employees of their knowledge about labor statistics and to create awareness and understanding of labor statistics concepts, indicators and measurements in the Department.

Mr. Rivera and Ms. Alcantara received their prize worth P10,000 from ASEC Rebecca J. Calzado and Director Criselda R. Sy of BLES during the Flag raising Ceremonies last October 29, 2007. ema a. aguirre
